Where do we use it?

KREMPELJC® is a hand-held gardening tool suitable for a wide range of tasks (weeding garden beds and raised beds, maintaining manicured lawns, working through mulch, loosening soil, cleaning joints between paving stones, and more). It proves particularly effective for:

Removing weeds

We remove weeds quickly and easily by loosening the weed’s roots with Krempeljc, without pulling out or damaging neighbouring (cultivated) plants.

Removing weeds with long roots / runners

Weeding requires both of the gardener’s hands: with one hand, we hold the visible, above-ground part of the weed and pull gently; with the other, we use Krempeljc to loosen the soil around the roots. Once the roots begin to give way, continue loosening in the direction indicated by the main root.

Cleaning joints and gaps

Thanks to its wedge-shaped profile, the tool adapts to different joint widths between slabs, enabling easy and efficient removal of weeds from joints and gaps.

Harvesting crops

When pulling crops with underground bulbs or similar produce (such as garlic, onions, etc.), the above-ground part often tears off. The curved shape of Krempeljc allows you to reach beneath the bulb with ease and assist with lifting it from the soil.

The sharp tip enables easy penetration into soil or into the dense root mass of weeds.

Curvature

The curvature provides easy access to the area you wish to loosen; when cleaning joints, it also helps to pull out most roots in a single draw of the tool.

The wedge shape allows the tool to fill the full width of a joint (when cleaning joints).

Sharp edges

The sharp edges enable you to cut through any remaining roots.

The method of use is simple: With one hand, hold the above-ground part of the weed and pull gently; with the other, loosen the soil around the weed’s roots using Krempeljc until the roots release.
